The Block’s Scotty Cam promotes ‘fast and free’ nine.com.au

Nine has recruited The Block’s Scotty Cam to promote its online platform, nine.com.au.

A new television ad, which has launched the same week at the premiere of Married at First Sight, sees Cam on a wharf flicking through nine.com.au and its range of online and video content, including coverage related to sport, entertainment and lifestyle.

As Cam goes about his day to day activities, he flicks out the app to look at Nine’s content, promoting it as ‘fast and free’.

It seeks to demonstrate that nine.com.au “has the lot”.

Helen McCabe, Nine’s digital content director, said the website had defined its place in the Australian market.

“By drawing on the support and expertise of the Nine news brand combined with the best of our sport, entertainment and lifestyle nine.com.au delivers everything Australians need in one easy to navigate spot,” McCabe said.

The latest campaign follows a marketing push from 9Honey, which saw Rebecca Judd, Shelly Horton and Rosie Waterland promote the women’s lifestyle platform.
