The Challenge Australia launches to 257k metro viewers; Seven wins Monday

The Challenge Australia on Ten launched to 257,000 metro viewers on Monday and topped entertainment in entertainment in under 50s in all key advertising demos, however, it was Seven that won the night.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for Monday 7 November, Seven News at 6:30 was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.378 million viewers, including 40,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. The biggest uplift of the week was an episode of Love Island Australia on Nine with an uplift of 828%.

Looking back at Tuesday’s overnights, This is Your Life on Seven aired to an average metro audience of 532,000, followed by Australian Story on ABC which aired to an average of 514,000.

The Chase Australia on Seven was next pulling in a metro audience of 474,000, while an episode of Home and Away on Seven aired to 447,000 metro viewers.

Meanwhile, Seven News won overall TV viewing on Monday night with 884,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 878,000 metro viewers, while Nine News had 784,000 metro viewers. Nine News brought in 775,000, A Current Affair pulled in 630,000 metro views, and ABC News pulled in 607,000 viewers.

As mentioned, Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 30% over Nine’s 26.3%, while the ABC had a share of 20%, and Ten had a share of 15.4%.

Seven also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Monday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.
