The Chase Australia on Seven tops entertainment; Nine takes the night

Seven’s game show The Chase Australia topped entertainment on Thursday with 494,000 metro viewers. However, Nine Network won the night.

Home and Away on Seven followed in entertainment with 416,000, while Ten’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! brought in 409,000 metro viewers.

Thursday night NRL on Nine pulled in 399,000 metro viewers, while Gogglebox on Ten attracted 386,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program of the night, however, was Seven News with 870,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 811,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 736,000 and Nine News with 725,000.

Nine Network won the night with a 29% overall share, followed by Seven with 26%, Ten with 19.9% and ABC with 15.2%.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with 22.3%, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.4%.

In the latest Consolidated 7 Total TV report for 13 April, the #1 program was Seven News with 1.457 million Total TV viewers, including 39,000 on national BVOD and a 3% uplift.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 40% was Gogglebox on Ten, with 698,000 Total TV viewers and 33,000 on national BVOD.
