The Chase Australia tops entertainment as Seven takes Thursday

Seven’s The Chase Australia has taken out the top spot for entertainment on Thursday night with 570,000 metro viewers, as the network also celebrated an overall nightly share win.

Next up in entertainment was The Chase Australia on Seven, bringing in 516,000 metro viewers, followed by Masterchef with 473,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s  AFL game between Melbourne Football Club and the Brisbane Lions aired to a metro audience of 448,000, while also winning key advertising demos, 16-39, and 18-49.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 9 June, Seven News topped the list with 1.477 million Total TV viewers, including 36,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was D.I Ray on SBS, with an uplift of 162%, viewed by a total of 505,000 national viewers.

Next in entertainment on Thursday was ABC’s Bluey, with 415,000 metro viewers, followed by an episode of Hot Seat with 393,000 metro viewers.

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 888,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 842,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 758,000 metro viewers, then Nine News 6:30 with 748,000 metro viewers. ABC News brought in 565,000 metro viewers and Nine’s A Current Affair had 540,000 metro viewers. ABC’s 7:30 followed with 426,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, Seven won the overall share for the evening with 32.4%, followed by Nine with 25.1%. Next was Ten, with 17.3%, and the ABC with a share of 16.3%.
