The Chase Australia tops entertainment; plus consolidated figures for Alone Australia as Seven wins Wednesday

The Chase Australia on Seven topped entertainment on Wednesday night, while the network also celebrated an overall win.

The quiz show aired to 511,000 metro viewers, followed by the network’s Farmer Wants A Wife with 508,000 metro viewers.

Hard Quiz on ABC attracted 472,000 metro viewers, while Lego Masters on Nine with brought in 454,000 metro viewers.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Ten pulled in 436,000 metro viewers, while Home and Away on Seven aired to 433,000.

The #1 program on Wednesday was Seven News with 910,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 862,000 and Nine News with 788,000.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 5 April, SBS saw two shows with an uplift of over 150%.

The Australian adaption of the international survival format, Alone Australia, brought in 791,000 Total TV viewers with the biggest uplift of 160% and 238,000 on national BVOD.

Last week, the show saw an uplift of 138%. SBS said the show has been the network’s highest-rated program for 2023 to date.

Rogue Heroes, the TV show from the creators of Peaky Blinders, brought in 550,000 Total TV viewers with an uplift of 157% and 138,000 on national BVOD.

However, the #1 show in this report was Seven News with 1.419 million Total TV viewers, with a 3% uplift and 37,000 on national BVOD.

In Wednesday overnights, as mentioned, Seven network won the night with a 30.6% overall share, followed by Nine with 26%, Ten with 17.5% and ABC with 16.5%.

The top-rated primary network was Seven with a 22.6% share, and the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with a 3.2% share.
