The Chaser’s Hansen and Taylor launch mockumentary series on Triple J
Triple J will air a mockumentary series written and performed by The Chaser’s Andrew Hansen and Chris Taylor, together with the radio station’s comedy producer Craig Schuftan.
The Blow Parade will be broadcast on April 28 at 5pm instead of the last half hour of the drive show and will be centred around the hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s, poking fun at the music industry mythology, music journalism and syndicated golden-oldies radio.
Hansen, Taylor and Schuftan will feature as band members of The Blow Parade. They will also be joined by Triple J drive host The Doctor and The Chaser writer Dominic Knight.
The five episode show will also be available as a podcast, as well as an uncut encore at 1am Thursdays and a 12pm Sundays encore.
Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large.

I’ve noticed this a couple times…
Pretty sure you can center ON something, but it’s grammatically incorrect to center AROUND… Is that even possible? You can revolve around, but I don’t think you can center around. Center makes you think right smack bang in the middle, so how the hell do you center around something?
