The Dog House wins primetime entertainment slot; Nine takes Thursday

Dog House on Ten won primetime entertainment on Thursday, however, it was Nine which celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to 433,000 people in all five major capital cities, and #1 entertainment show in the 25 to 54s.

In overall entertainment, The Chase Australia came in the first spot with 518,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine’s Hot Seat which had 434,000 metro viewers.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 14 July, Seven News topped the list with 1.444 million Total TV viewers, including 37,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was Home and Away on Seven, with an uplift of 26%, viewed by a total of 843,000 national viewers, and 125,000 on BVOD.

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 926,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 915,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 838,000 metro viewers, then Nine News at 6:30 with 806,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair brought in 620,000 metro viewers, followed by ABC News which brought in 607,000. ABC’s 7:30 followed with 521,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, Nine won the overall share for the evening with 28.9%, followed by Seven with 27.1%. Next was ABC, with 16.8% of the total share, just pipping Ten on 16.5%.
