The express lane to retail media: Quick commerce on the Remade agenda

With only five days until early bird ticket pricing ends, Remade is pleased to announce a new session to join this year’s expanded program.

In ‘Fast, Frictionless, Full Funnel: Quick commerce rewrites retail media’ panellists from McCain Foods, Uber and PHD will explore how the rise of instant delivery is reshaping retail media.

The session will unpack brand new research from PHD and Uber Advertising on how quick commerce is collapsing the path to purchase into mere seconds, and what that means for brands.

(L-R): Georgina Woodcock, Matt McGinley, Brendan Hewitt

It will feature Georgina Woodcock, media, social & PR marketing manager at McCains; Matt McGinley, head of CPG & retail advertising at Uber Advertising; and Brendan Hewitt, head of strategy at PHD.

They’ll examine why delivery platforms are fast becoming some of the most valuable real estate in retail media and how brands can capitalise on every moment becoming a shoppable one.

Other recent headline sessions for Remade’s 2025 program including fresh perspectives on global strategy, full-funnel media, and AI-driven disruption.

Willie Pang, general manager of Amazon Ads ANZ, will present a keynote on retail media 3.0, unpacking how Amazon uses customer intent signals, AI-powered optimisation and connected TV to deliver meaningful consumer connections.

Meanwhile, Epsilon’s Adam Skinner will return with a practical look at what works in the world’s most advanced retail media markets. Based on real results from major grocery retailers in the US and Australia, Skinner will outline the tactics that move the needle, the missteps to avoid, and how to measure true ROI through incrementality and attribution.

Zitcha’s head of data and AI, Alberto Vergara, will also take to the stage, to explore what happens when AI becomes the customer.

Commbank’s Pat Crowley and Sonder’s Jonathan Hopkins will also speak

Meanwhile, Commbank will share the inside story to its retail media network, Commbank Connect. Commbank’s general manager of owned and paid media, Patrick Crowley, and owned media consultancy Sonder co‑founder Jonathan Hopkins will unpack how the network was built from the ground up, why content took precedence over ads at launch, and the governance frameworks put in place to keep customer trust at the centre.

Also on the roster will be a joint case study from Logitech and Flywheel Digital, along with new research on creative effectiveness in retail media.

Remade: Retail Media Unmade will take place on September 23 at the Aerial Function Centre, Ultimo, bringing together leaders from across the retail, advertising, technology and media ecosystem.

Early bird tickets are on sale for another five days, at a saving of $195.
