The Masked Singer sloth reveal pulls 916,000 metro viewers on Tuesday night

Ten’s The Masked Singer once again topped all three advertising demographics last night, and attracted 806,000 metro viewers for the episode and 916,000 for the reveal.

Once the regions were factored in, the format’s result jumped to 1.098m viewers nationally for the bulk of the episode and 1.244m tuned in for the sloth’s mask to come off.

Despite the strong result, it wasn’t enough to stop Nine from winning in overall channel and network share, with 20.1% and 28.7% respectively (Ten had a 13.2% channel share and 19.4% network share). Nine News had 1.018m metro viewers, and 1.009m for the 6:30 slot. A Current Affair pulled 780,000, and Ninja Warrior: Australia vs The World 626,000.

Seven News was once again the most-watched show of the night, securing 1.113m metro viewers and 1.084m for the 6:30 version. In the 7:30 slot, it aired America’s Got Talent up against Ninja Warrior: Australia vs The World and The Masked Singer, which had 417,000 metro viewers.

The channel finished with a 16.7% share, and Seven had a 25.8% network share.

ABC News rounded out the top three news programs with 765,000 metro viewers. 7:30 pulled 619,000 metro viewers, while Anh’s Brush With Fame had 613,000 metro viewers, giving the public broadcaster a 17.4% network share.

SBS had a 8.7% network share, and the best performing multi-channel was 7TWO with a 3.7% share on the night.
