The Renovators finale wins Wednesday night
Ten’s finale of The Renovators went out on top last night as the second part of the episode where the winner was announced, airing from 9:05 to 9:36, was the most watched show of the night with 1.264 million.
The Auction Night part of the program, which ran from 7:33 to 9:05, had an audience of 1.122 million, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam. Both parts of the show won their time slots.
South Australian builder Michael Lynch was the winner of the night pocketing just under 95,000. The prize money was the combined profits from all the houses sold, with only three out of the six making a profit.
On the ABC, Gruen Planet was fifth most-watched with an audience of 1.023 million. It was 107,000 down on last week’s audience. Following Gruen was the Chaser’s new show The Hamster Wheel on which was 34,000 down on its debut to 823,000.

Sarah – pretty sure renovators has been commissioned for at least 2 seasons.
They’ll need to have another season really, just to pay back the massive value shortfalls sponsors will no doubt have been chasing since ep 1….
