The Renovators launch: Mott says ‘No Plan B’
There is no plan B, should The Renovators fail, David Mott, Network Ten’s chief programming officer told Alice Terlikowski of Encore’s sister publication, Mumbrella at last night’s launch of the program.
“We are so certain about the series. We’re very happy about the way it looks, the opportunity it brings to clients, advertisers and viewers – there’s somethign for everyone.” The Renovators have built a long list of sponsors.
Network Ten’s newest reality contest, The Renovators sees couples compete in DIY renovation challenges, “that not only looks at home renovations,” said Judy Smart Executive Producer, “but breaks home renovation down to all its basic components, styling, design, architecture and tests contestants on all those elements with the aim of finding the best renovator in the country.”
