The Secrets She Keeps premieres on Ten to 399,000 metro viewers

Psychological thriller The Secrets She Keeps has premiered to 399,000 metro viewers on Ten after being released onto 10Play earlier in the month during the network’s Ten Days of Coronamas promotion.

The six-part series is based on the novel by Michael Robotham and is set in the Blue Mountains. It stars Laura Carmichael and Jessica De Gouw.

The show brought 539,000 national viewers to Ten at 8.45pm, airing after Masterchef which delivered 994,000 metro viewers and 1.261m nationally, making it the most-watched entertainment program of the night. The show also topped all three of the key advertising demographics – 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s.

In the same slot, Nine’s Doctor Doctor delivered 457,000 metro viewers, followed by 484,000 for Paramedics. Seven’s Britain’s Got Talent, which returned for its 2020 season, brought in 568,000 metro viewers, followed by 382,000 for Mrs Brown’s Boys at 9pm.

On ABC, 7.30 delivered 779,000 metro viewers and 1.115m nationally. Hard Quiz brought in 723,000 metro and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell 671,000. You Can’t Ask That brought in 470,000 metro viewers at 9pm.

Seven won the night overall, holding an 18.4% audience share for its main channel and 25.8% as a network. Nine secured 16.9% and 24.9%, followed by ABC with a main channel share of 14.8%. Ten slipped ahead however in the network share, holding 21.1% above ABC’s 20.0%, but a channel share of 14.7%. The most-watched multi-channel was 10Bold with 4.3%.
