The Smith Family launches back-to-school appeal for kids in need
The Smith Family has launched a back-to-school campaign aimed at helping provide children in need with the basic items they need, such as school books and uniforms, in order to go to school.
The campaign, created by BMF, graphically portrays the world a disadvantaged child endures, day after day.
The charity aims to break the cycle of disadvantage by supporting a child’s education through sponsorship.
Elaine Henry, The Smith Family CEO, said: “For these children, financial disadvantage is about more than just money. It’s about not beingable to participate fully in society, or reach their potential through education.”
For $27 a month (less than $1 a day), a disadvantaged Australian child can be sponsored.

I think this is a fantastic campaign for a great cause. This TVC really pulls on my heartstrings… as a world vision sponsor I often think how good it would be to sponsor an Aussie kid so I’m glad I now have the opportunity. Perfect time fort his kind of campaign as well with Australia Day next week.
