The Voice Australia continues to strike the right chord for Seven

An episode of Seven’s The Voice Australia last night topped entertainment, with the network also winning the overall network share for the evening.

The episode brought in 712,000 metro viewers, however it was Nine’s Lego Masters that won all three key advertising demos, with the episode airing to an average audience of 654,000, both shows up on last Wednesday’s viewing numbers. 

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 19 April, Seven News topped the list with 1.621 million Total TV viewers, including 36,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 2%. The program with the highest uplift was The Rookie on Seven with an uplift of 71%, and viewed by 420,000 national viewers.

Next in entertainment on Wednesday was Seven’s The Chase Australia which pulled in 551,000 metro viewers, followed by MasterChef on Ten with 498,000 metro viewers. Up on last Wednesday’s TV viewing. 

Home and Away on Seven saw 485,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s Hot Seat brought in 418,000.

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 985,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 972,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 900,000 metro viewers, then Nine News 6:30 with 865,000 metro viewers. Nine’s A Current Affair had 677,000 metro viewers. ABC News followed with 596,000 metro viewers, then ABC’s 7.30 with 434,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, Seven had the largest network share with 31.4%, followed by Nine with 28.4%. Ten was next  with 18.2%, followed by the ABC with a 13.5% share.
