The Voice shouts with massive 2.69m viewers

The Voice achieved its biggest audience yet with 2.69m viewers tuning in to watch the talent contest last night on Nine.
The two-hour show came out in front of the network’s tele-movie about the mining disaster Beaconsfield, which pulled in 1.637m in the 8.30pm time slot that followed The Voice, according to preliminary results from OzTam.
The two shows helped Nine win the night with 38.2%. Seven was second 19.3% and Ten was third with 13.1%.
Beaconsfield was no documentary. It was a straight out drama (depicting a real-life event).
And dead boring to boot, BTW.
Nine might delay folding for a while yet. Bet they are glad they nabbed The Voice. Ch 7 couldn’t have done it anyway…they have more reality than they can handle. Wish they’d cancel DWTS since they’ve run out of famous people.
The Voice is a rip off. they already know who the people are that they are listening to. why do they say you are great , your voice is fantastic etc. why then didnt they push the buzzer. seems lame and will lose its flavour. Australias got talent is a more entertaining show with all different talents
