The Works promotes Nathan Bilton to creative partner
Creative agency The Works has promoted long-serving creative lead Nathan Bilton to the role of creative partner.
Bilton has been with the RXP Services-owned agency for the past 10 years, starting out as a copywriter and rising to the rank of creative lead.
In his new role, Bilton will lead the News Corp business in addition to working with other clients across the agency.
Among his notable work for the agency was the creation of the “world’s biggest esky” at Bondi Iceberg for Jim Beam in 2013. He also created a number of Canadian Club ‘Over Beer’ campaigns which were awarded a Grand and Gold Effie, The Works said in a statement.
The Works co-founder and creative partner Damian Pincus said: “Nathan joined us straight out of AWARD School and over the past 10 years has created some outstanding and effective work for our clients. We’re delighted to be able to continue his career by making him a creative partner of the business and look forward to another decade of Nathan doing what he does best.”
Bilton added: “The partners, Kevin, Damian and Douglas, took a bit of a chance on someone with negligible advertising experience. Hopefully, I’ve repaid their gamble. I’ve been lucky to work with, and learn from, some great people at both The Works and via our clients and I’m looking forward to big things with News.”
The Works was acquired by ASX-listed digital services consultancy RXP Services in August last year.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke.
Well done Nathan.
