Think HQ recruits Red Agency founder Neil Travers as strategic adviser

PR and communications agency Think HQ has hired the founder of Red Agency, Neil Travers, as a strategic adviser.

The appointment comes after the agency also recruited former Grey Worldwide MD Jane Emery as a business development manager.

Travers: Will advise Think HQ’s PR, strategy, content and creative management teams

The agency said Travers – who has worked for over 30 years in the public and private sectors as a communication strategist, ministerial adviser, consultant on public affairs issues, in-house corporate communications and agency head – will be a permanent member of the senior team. He has been hired as the company expands its services across the government, philanthropic and communities sectors.

It also recently launched an online learning platform, Lumin.

Travers said he was looking forward to joining the team.

“They are passionate about the work they do and drive their energy into projects that generate tangible, positive social impact. With Jen’s leadership and the teams’ experience, the incredible work and momentum that’s been achieved over the last few years are only the beginning for this impressive business.”

Founder and managing director Jen Sharpe added: “Everyone at Think HQ is very excited to be working alongside Neil. His many years of experience and connections in the industry are going to be an essential part of the conversation as Think HQ and Lumin continue to grow and evolve. It is our privilege to have his input and he will be an invaluable asset to our team.”
