Thinkerbell promotes Paul Swann and Tom Wenborn, hires ex-Bastion Make MD Jacqueline Archer
Thinkerbell has made several senior leadership appointments to push the business into its next chapter, Mumbrella can reveal.
Continuing on its trajectory of growth and success across its three offices, the ‘Measured Magic’ agency has made three promotions and two new appointments in Nick Bennett, Tom Wenborn, Paul Swann, Jacqueline Archer and Laura Stevenson.
Across the creative space, Swann and Wenborn have been promoted to chief creative tinkers of the North and South (Sydney and Melbourne) offices, reporting to co-founder and national chief creative, Jim Ingram.
Both have led the creative delivery for each office for multiple years, most recently as ECDs, with Swann having joined the agency in 2019, and Wenborn in 2018.

They will now be wholly responsible for growth in their respective patches.
“Holding the reins on Thinkerbell’s creative output is no mean feat, our agency model allows us to have such a wide breadth of ideas and we’re obviously prolific in what we deliver, so I’m constantly amazed with how much care and craft Paul and Tom bring to everything they do,” Ingram said of the promotions.
“I can’t wait to see what they’ll do as chiefs.”
To help steer the Melbourne office, the agency has promoted Nick Bennett to general manager, Thinkerbell South.
Bennett joined Thinkerbell in 2019 as a senior account director, and quickly moved up the ranks in his five years at the agency. He has been instrumental in working alongside managing director Jaime Morgan, and will continue to build the agency’s team of thinkers.
“Nick and Jaime have been amazing at leading the agency in the South and with Nick’s appointment as GM he now has the ability to have a wider influence on his team and the people around him with his calm and considered leadership style,” said Margie Reid, CEO of Thinkerbell.
The agency has also welcomed a new national head of integrated production in Jacqueline Archer.
The ex-Bastion Make managing director will be responsible for the agency’s production processes internally and externally.

“Jackie brings with her a wealth of experience, across a wide range of production experience, from agencies, to networks and everything in between,” Ingram continued.
“She’s also got a brilliant ability to truly integrate production into the agency, helping us bring our ideas and our production much closer together.”
Finally, the agency also welcomes Laura Stevenson as its executive head thinker to lead the Lion account.
After living and working in the UK for the past five years, Stevenson returns to Australia with experience from Media.Monks, Present Company and adam&eveDDB.
Reid said of her appointment: “We searched high and low to find someone like Laura, and she’s having an immediate impact on steering the Lion team across the agency.
“With Laura’s focus on Lion across both offices in Australia, she’s ensuring our ‘Measured Magic’ is consistent across all brands and the whole Lion business.”
