Ticketek appoints new head of e-commerce

Holly Joshi has been appointed to the newly-created position of head of e-commerce at Ticketek. Joshi worked previously at SapientNitro as a senior manager in optimisation and analytics.holly_joshi_sq

The announcement:

TEG, Australasia’s leading ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics company, has today announced the appointment of Holly Joshi to the newly created role of Head of e-Commerce, Ticketek.

Geoff Jones, Chief Executive Officer of TEG the parent company of Ticketek, said the new position was another important step in building Ticketek’s market leading position in digital optimisation, online customer experience and data driven marketing.

“Holly brings to the team a wealth of experience across customer journey mapping, web personalisation and optimising digital channels,” said Jones.

“This appointment will drive the continued evolution of our consumer facing channels across web and mobile apps.”

Holly Joshi joins Ticketek from SapientNitro where she was Senior Manager Optimisation & Analytics.

Ticketek Managing Director Cameron Hoy said the appointment was a sign of the company’s commitment to the consumer experience.

“We operate in a rapidly evolving and increasingly competitive marketplace,” said Hoy. “Holly’s appointment is critical for ensuring that Ticketek remains the best in breed from an e-Commerce perspective.”

In other news, TEG’s long-serving Chief Operating Officer Dominic Teakle has accepted the role of CEO of the Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW (PCYC).

Geoff Jones paid tribute to Teakle for his contribution to TEG over the past seven years.

“Dom has served the business across a range of roles encompassing the majority of operational, client and customer service functions of the TEG business,” said Jones.

“Dom has built a strong reputation for operational excellence and delivering on commitments across our network of clients.
