Tourism NT offers travel discount to the fully vaccinated in new campaign

Tourism NT has become the first Australian tourism body to offer an incentive for fully vaccinated people with the NT Summer Sale campaign.

Fully vaccinated people from non-hotspots can save up to $1000 on their trip to the Northern Territory by getting a discount of $200 for every $1000 spent on bookings, with the limit being a $1000 discount on a $5000 booking.

In order to get the discount, bookings must be made either through Helloworld or Holidays of Australia.

Tourism NT executive director of marketing Tony Quarmby said: “Summer is an exciting place in the Northern Territory, and we know there are many people around the country that haven’t had the chance to book a holiday, to experience something new, or go somewhere different.

“With over $2.3 million in savings made during last year’s NT Summer Sale, this is the perfect opportunity to book the trip you’ve been waiting for and explore the Top End and Red Centre at this incredibly rare, low price.

“With the tourism industry heavily impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic and border restrictions we’re encouraging Australians to come to the NT this summer and have the adventure of a lifetime.”

Atomic 212 handled media for the campaign and Balance has done the creative.

The offer is available from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
