Tourism WA launches ‘Give the Gift of Travel’ campaign

Tourism WA has released its campaign for Christmas, titled ‘Give the Gift of Travel’ via The Brand Agency.

The campaign has been released as Western Australia’s border to the most populous states, Victoria and New South Wales, have restrictions imposed.

The campaign will be on social, digital and print, as well as a micro-site.

WA Tourism Minister David Templeman said: “This is a great opportunity for people to show their festive spirit this season and support our local tourism operators.

“Gift vouchers for a Manta Ray Marine Eco Safari in Coral Bay, a Swan Valley wine cruise or a scenic flight over the picturesque pink lake of Hutt Lagoon are unforgettable experiences that can’t help but bring people joy.

“They’re a meaningful gift that will create lasting memories for those lucky enough to receive them while getting behind our tourism industry.”

Local tourism operators featured on the website include Lake Argyle Cruises, Margaret River Adventure Co, Willie Creek Pearl Farm and Swan River Seaplanes.

The campaign has launched a couple of weeks after Tourism Australia’s latest iteration of the ‘Holiday Here This Year‘.
