Travel Guides win entertainment; plus consolidated figures for The 1% Club launch and Alone Australia

The Malaysia episode of Travel Guides topped entertainment with 671,000 metro viewers, bringing in an overall share win for Nine on Wednesday night.

It is followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia in entertainment with 580,000 metro viewers, while ABC’s Hard Quiz aired to 482,000 metro viewers.

A special tribute to Barry Humphries on Nine, ‘Barry Humphries – A Life of Laughs’, brought in 467,000 metro viewers.

Meanwhile, Seven’s new game show The 1% Club, which premiered to 527,000 metro viewers last week, brought in 460,000 metro viewers last night for the second episode.

The premiere episode had a 22% consolidated uplift with 1.409 million Total TV viewers and 101,000 on national BVOD.

Moreover in the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 26 April, Seven News was the #1 program nationally last Sunday with 1.555 million Total TV viewers, including 42,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 175% was Rogue Heroes on SBS with 402,000 Total TV audience and 102,000 on national BVOD.

The network’s Alone Australia had a 150% uplift with 835,000 Total TV viewers and 259,000 on national BVOD.

The #1 program on Wednesday night was Seven News with 965,000 metro viewers, which also topped all three key advertising demos.

As mentioned, Nine Network won the night with a 31.4% overall share, followed by Seven with 28.1%, ABC with 17.9% and Ten with 12.4%.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with 23.6%, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.4%.
