Triggerfish expands into UK market, appoints new head of UI design

Brisbane-based Triggerfish,  a CX and MarTech agency, has expanded into the international market with a suite of new hires in the UK, including the appointment of a new head of User Interface (UI) design, Oliver Brown.

With more than ten years experience in design, digital and marketing, Brown was previously head of design at TravelTime, and throughout his career has worked with global clients including Apple, Nokia and Ministry of Sound and the NHS.

In May, Triggerfish announced two global clients, including a partnership with Subway’s franchisee-owned purchasing company, Independent Purchasing Cooperative, and a global fintech organisation, specialising in direct debit and payment solutions, based in the US.

The expansion follows the recent announcement of Triggerfish’s new leadership structure which includes the appointment of Mirko Roettgers to the newly-created role of general manager.

CEO of Triggerfish and parent company, Rightscale Group, Ben Shapiro, said that Brown’s appointment will give the agency a creative edge in market.

“We’re thrilled to have Oliver at the helm of our UK expansion. His strong history of leadership and expertise in UI design will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our offering both locally and globally.

“I’m confident that his innovative and modern approach to design, combined with our well-established tech expertise, will be a major differentiator for our agency,” Shapiro said.

Shapiro added that Triggerfish’ expansion into the UK is an exciting move for the company and a marker of the agency’s continued success.

“After continued success and growth in Australia over the last few years, we knew that the next step was to increase our international footprint and offer our services on a global scale.

“With our team now spread across two continents, we’re in a position to better service our current clients, but also expand our international client base.

“Building a presence in the UK market has been in our plans for some time now, so it’s great to see them finally come to fruition. We can’t wait to see where the next few years take us,” he concluded.

Founded in 2017, Triggerfish is a company that uses marketing technology and customer experience implementations to transform businesses and aim to drive profitable growth for clients.
