Triple M’s Homegrown rebrands to ‘Triple M Aussie’, with Chris ‘Becko’ Beckhouse to replace Jane Gazzo as host

Triple M’s national Sunday night program Homegrown has a new name, taking on the moniker ‘Triple M Aussie’ from this Sunday.

Chris ‘Becko’ Beckhouse – who currently fronts mornings in Sydney from 9am to 12pm – will replace Jane Gazzo as host of the program.

‘Becko’ will front the program from Sunday

Triple M has been asked for clarification about what this means for Beckhouse’s morning gig and Gazzo’s role on the program.

The radio station said the Triple M Aussie program would deliver a curated playlist of the best Australian music from the past few decades.

“Triple M has a long history of supporting Australian artists, and earlier this year we launched a Triple M Aussie digital station. To have a dedicated show, hosted by Becko, along with a dedicated station, further highlights our ongoing commitment to showcasing great Aussie music,” the network’s head of music, Mickey Maher said.

“It is not only important to give back to the artists who have helped to shape our music culture, but also those continuing to carry the flame.”

Triple M Aussie will be broadcast on Triple M in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne from 8pm to 10pm on Sunday nights. It will be replayed on Wednesdays at 10pm. It will also be heard on Triple M Aussie’s digital station on Mondays from 9am.
