TRSN Sydney general manager Leanne Wotherspoon departs
Leanne Wotherspoon, The Radio Sales Network’s general manager in Sydney, has departed the company after almost six years.
Wotherspoon, who has led the Sydney sales team since 2013 will focus on her passion for interior design. She will be replaced by senior account manager, Dee McTaggart.
Wotherspoon first joined TRSN in 2013
McTaggart has been with the company, which is owned by Grant Broadcasters, for the last 11 years, working in senior sales positions across Sydney metropolitan radio stations.
Grant Broadcasters’ incoming CEO, Alison Cameron, thanked Wotherspoon for her leadership
“Leanne has done an incredible job for TRSN in Sydney over the past 6 years, not only delivering strong revenue growth but she has brought together a really strong and talented national sales team,” Cameron said.
McTaggart has worked with TRSN for 11 years
“Testimony to this is the easy decision to promote Dee to the general manager position as part of our succession plan.”
McTaggart added: “I’m really excited about taking on the challenge of running the Sydney team and continuing on the good results that we have achieved over the last couple of years.”
The appointment is effective immediately, but Wotherspoon will continue to assist until the end of August.
