TV ratings: Just 0.1% between Nine and Seven on Thursday night

The final Thursday night of the ratings season was a nail-biter with one-tenth of a percentage point dividing the audience share of Nine and Seven.

Nine pipped them at the post, taking 28.8% of the audience, compared to Seven’s 28.7%.

The biggest non-news performers for Nine were RBT (427,000), Hot Seat (318,000), and Emergency (315,000), while Seven scored with The Chase (430,000), and Border Security (384,000).

ABC secured 19.2% of the audience share, with Bill Bailey’s Wild West pulling an impressive 403,000, and Grand Designs drawing 227,000.

Ten had 13.9% of the Thursday night crowd, despite not landing a show inside the top 20 for the evening.
