TV ratings: Nine takes a competitive Wednesday night
Nine has won a competitive Wednesday night, despite some heavyweight programming from the other networks.
Nine took 27.4% of the audience share, beating Seven’s 24.7%, and strong showings from ABC and Ten, who commanded 21.1% and 19.1%, respectively.
Ten’s big winner was The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition, which drew 447,000 across the five metro areas. ABC’s new comedy hope, Australian Epic, debuted to 285,000 viewers in the capitals, Wil Anderson vehicle Question Everything drew 429,000, while a repeat of Hard Quiz beat them all – drawing 486,000 to the ABC in the early evening.
And, as always, Home and Away delivered the goods for Seven, with 460,000 viewers tuning in.
