The pop-up will feature designs created by some of Australia’s most well known women.

Opening in Sydney’s Paddington, the pop-up tea house celebrates 300 years since Thomas Twining launched The Golden Lyon in the UK, the first tea house that welcomed women. The popup – masterminded by  The AC Agency – will showcase designs by Australia’s female icons, of what inspires them or what they think will inspire Australian women. The winning design will appear on the packaging.

“Shortlisting designs to these 10 truly was very difficult as each woman clearly embraced the idea of reflecting what inspires them as in their design submission. We cannot wait to announce our top four and see which one of these designs the Australian public decides is their overall favourite,” said Audrey Green, marketing managing at Twinings Australia.

The shortlist of designs include works by Carrie Bickmore, Emma Freedman, Nicole Kidman, Erica Packer, Kylie Gillies, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Olivia Phyland, Samantha Harris, Shaynna Blaze and Samantha Armytage.
