Uber names R/GA global social agency of record

Uber has appointed R/GA as global social agency of record, with R/GA Sydney leading work on the APAC operations. Work in the region will focus on driving the brand through social and digital channels.

R/GA’s remit spans both Uber’s ride sharing and Uber Eats businesses, delivering data-driven creative programs and community management.

R/GA has been appointed by Uber on a global scale

The agency has been tasked with improving the effectiveness for all of Uber’s digital and social marketing, and positioning Uber as the leading service in every city it operates in.

In Australia, R/GA will work alongside Special Group and MediaCom. Towards the end of 2019, Hello Social was appointed to an integrated social media account for Uber. Mumbrella has contacted the agency for comment.
