Veridooh appoints new group sales lead

Kate Crook has joined Veridooh as group sales lead based in Melbourne.

The announcement:

Leading OOH verification company Veridooh has appointed Kate Crook (née Wilkinson) as group sales lead (Vic, Qld, SA, & WA) to help strengthen the business’ relationships with clients across Australia.

Crook previously worked at Shopper where she was senior business manager and has also worked at JCDecaux and Scentre.

In her new role, Crook will be based in Melbourne and will focus on better servicing agencies and brands across the four states. Crook’s appointment marks the first Australian hire for the business outside of NSW, reflecting the growth of Veridooh’s world-first OOH verification solution across the market.

“After 17 months on maternity leave, I’m excited to rejoin the sector and work with an innovative company that is shaking up the OOH industry,” Crook says.

“Having worked in the sector for the past eight years, I’ve seen third-party independent verification go from a nice-to-have to the standard that clients are demanding, and suppliers have done an excellent job at providing this solution for advertisers.

“I look forward to understanding the next set of challenges our clients face to ensure they’re getting the most out of their OOH investment.”

Veridooh’s proprietary and patented SmartCreativeTM technology provides unmatched verification for digital, programmatic, and static OOH across Australia and the UK. Veridooh is the preferred verification partner for GroupM, Omnicom Media Group, and IPG Mediabrands in Australia.

“We’re thrilled to have Kate’s passion and expertise on the Veridooh team,” says David Sutherland, Veridooh head of client and partnerships, APAC.

“Her superpower is understanding clients’ problems and helping solve them in a clear and easy manner. It’s great to be working with her and have her help strengthen our presence nationally.”
