Village Roadshow’s top marketer, Mohit Bhargava, joins Big4

Mohit Bhargava has joined holiday park group Big4 as general manager of sales and marketing.

Prior to his seven years with Village Roadshow, Bhargava was with Nova Entertainment where he climbed the ranks from digital client manager to digital strategist, before becoming digital product marketing manager and then digital product manager, commercial.

Big4’s CEO Steven Wright said Bhargava’s experience in marketing to families and couples, as well as working in disrupted industries, made him a perfect fit for the role.

“Mohit brings with him a wealth of expertise in the entertainment and hospitality industry, particularly around marketing to families and couples, which is the lifeblood of Big4. He is highly respected and, like the holiday park industry, comes from an industry that has been subject to major disruption in recent years,” Wright said.

“His knowledge and extensive expertise in sales and marketing strategy, customer loyalty, data analytics, omnichannel retail and corporate partnerships provide a solid foundation for him to successfully lead Big4’s sales and marketing activities. He has a mandate to grow Big4’s share of the online sales and leisure accomodation market significantly.”

Bhargava said he was looking forward to kicking off his new role in mid-February.

“It’s an iconic Australian brand, operating in a circa $2bn industry with strong growth potential and even though it is the clear market leader, it is not standing still,” he said. “It has great leadership and has detailed plans and budgets to aggressively grow its online presence, loyalty program and overall revenue. I am excited to be able to lead Big4 sales and marketing activities to ensure these ambitions are achieved.”
