Visual Domain partners with TCL on AFL finals TV campaign featuring Brian Taylor

Visual Domain has created a new television campaign for TCL, featuring AFL legend Brian Taylor, to launch during the 2025 Toyota AFL finals series.

Visual Domain, News Corp Australia’s full-service video production agency, has teamed up with consumer electronics brand TCL for a new television campaign featuring AFL legend and media personality Brian Taylor, launching in time for footy finals.

As an official AFL partner, TCL selected Visual Domain through a competitive pitch to create a comprehensive TVC campaign for both broadcast and digital platforms.

Visual Domain’s creative direction capitalises on Taylor’s much-loved ‘Roaming BT’ interview format and style, delivering an authentic connection between AFL culture and TCL’s brand proposition.

The creative strategy fuses footy culture with everyday family scenarios, positioning TCL’s product range, from televisions and soundbars to refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners, as integral to the modern Australian home.

TCL national marketing manager, Rafael Mayen, said: “As a proud AFL partner, it was important to work with an agency that truly understood our brand and could seamlessly integrate our products into authentic footy culture. This marks the beginning of our partnership with Visual Domain and we look forward to seeing how we continue partnering together.”

Visual Domain managed end-to-end production, including talent selection, creative development as well as copy, art and design approvals, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery.

This campaign shows that TCL can be part of the action, whether you’re cheering on your team in the living room or tackling the laundry. The campaign launches today and runs throughout the 2025 Toyota AFL finals series.
