Weber Shandwick wins Kensington

PR agency Weber Shandwick has picked up the account for technology accessory company Kensington.

The win followed a competitive pitch. According to the announcement: “The firm will work closely with Kensington to extend and enhance its success in both the consumer and enterprise spaces in 2012 and beyond, by building a robust brand awareness campaign, with a media and digital focus.”

Kensington’s manager of marketing and business development Sam Goldstein said: “We identified the need for a fresh and strategic PR agency partnership that would contribute to our continued growth in both the consumer and enterprise markets. “We were impressed by Weber Shandwick’s credentials as a PR firm, including its traditional and digital capabilities, and the team’s ability to understand our business and communications requirements and map that into a strategy that will further build our brand awareness.”

Lisa Popplewell, GM and head of technology at Weber Shandwick said: “Kensington is a brand trusted by businesses and consumers around the world. It is exciting to work with the company at such an important point in its business growth.”
