Westfield shifts to Draft FCB in NZ

TBWA \ Tequila has parted with retail giant Westfield in New Zealand after three years, with the account moving to Draft FCB.

TBWA \ Tequila CEO David Walden said: “After three years and a lengthy process where we repitched for the business, a decision has been made to conclude the partnership. It was always going to be a big ask for us but they’ve decided they need a different style of agency and now that the cards have been dealt we wish them well for the future.

“It’s a turbulent time in the industry and there is no agency in the country that’s immune to change. Client relationships are no different.”

In Australia, M&C Saatchi has the Westfield creative account, while Ikon looks after media.
