The announcement:

Creative performance agency Windsorborn is bolstering the senior leadership team announcing the arrival of two key hires, performance director Steven Wulz and creative director Ben Stainlay.

A career spanning 15 years, Wulz joins the agency from Ogilvy where he was SEO lead. A conversion focused web strategist and data hungry futurist, Wulz is an SEO expert with broad experience working across industry sectors including government, finance, news, automotive, telecommunications and FMCG.

Wulz has worked on brands including Mitsubishi, Volvo, Foxtel, Disney Australia, NRL, Telstra, Nestle, Lion Nathan, NAB, Bankwest, NSW Government and Sydney Metro. He was the SEO lead on the roll out of KFC globally.

Commenting on his new role, Wulz says: “Windsorborn has shown me how good it can be when strong creative, digital and performance teams are focussed on the same goal. It’s seamless marketing that just works, day in, day out.”

With over 22 years experience, Stainlay joins from his role as creative director at Greenhouse — a partnership agency between M&C Saatchi and Woolworths.

With over 100 international advertising awards under his belt — including Golds at Cannes, Caples, Clios, London International Awards and Spikes — he has created campaigns for brands including Woolworths, Commbank, Asics, Cochlear, GSK, Bankwest, Vodafone, HSBC, XBOX, Sony and Virgin Atlantic.

He says: “It’s quite incredible what happens when you plug performance strategies into creative. It supercharges it. It’s like nothing I’ve seen before. This is why I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to again work with agency founder Will Reynolds, and the rest of the awesome team at Windsorborn.”

“It’s getting harder for brands to find and connect with their audience, especially if you don’t have big marketing budgets. So, you have to play smarter. And that’s what we help our clients do.”

Co-owner and managing director Will Reynolds said: “Windsorborn had an incredible year of growth last year. And plugging in Ben and Steve means we now have the creative and performance firepower we need to take Windsorborn to the next level and deliver even greater results for our clients.”

Combining creative, digital development, SEO and media, Windsorborn has recently won new clients including Naked Wines and Wesley Mission.
