The Wolf of Wall Street continues to dominate Australian box office
The Wolf of Wall Street dominated the weekend box office for the second week taking $3.749 million across 325 screens.
Since its opening on January 23 the Roadshow film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio as controversial New York trader Jordan Belfort who made and lost a fortune in the 80s, has made a total of $12,057, 024
The three-hour long film made $2,590,686 more than its nearest contender 12 Years A Slave. The Oscar-tipped film opened over the weekend made $1.159 million across 121 screens.
The Book Thief came in third place at the Australian box office bringing in just over $1 million across 262 screens.
Disney’s Frozen continues to do well making $775, 956 at the box office across 250 screens. Since its premiere on Boxing Day the animation has made $33,035,05.
Saving Mr Banks, also from Disney, lagged just behind Frozen bringing in $700,956 across 250 screens.
