Xaxis announces three new appointments

Audience buying company Xaxis has announced three new appointments.

The announcement:

Xaxis, the world’s largest audience buying company, announced today the addition of three industry veterans to its management team in Australia. As an inaugural Xaxis office, Xaxis Australia has seen tremendous growth and success since 2011. These appointments reflect the company’s dedication to the market and aim to further the market’s tremendous growth.

Timothy Whitfield, appointed as the Director or Operations, joins Xaxis following several positions at Facilitate Digital a global digital advertising company. Esther Carlsen who has joined the company as General Manager, spent several years with Yahoo!7.

Based in the Sydney office, Whitfield and Carlsen will oversee an expanded portfolio of products and operations that will guide new business and client development strategies

Each part of our business is expanding and changing – technology is evolving, landscape is continuously shifting and client demands are only ever increasing.” Whitfield said. “Working for Xaxis allows me to tackle this challenge head-on, making this one of the most exhilarating jobs I could imagine. I quite often need to pinch myself,”

Carlsen added that “The strength of the Xaxis product from global, regional and local perspectives, coupled with the scale of GroupM provides a great opportunity in Australia.

We are focused on providing data-driven decision making for our clients, through both technology and the talent we have within the business. Being part of the rapidly growing Xaxis business is a very exciting prospect for me and I am thrilled to be joining the Meg Thomas joins Xaxis as the new Victorian State Manager from her previous post as Brand Partnerships Manager at Adconion Media Group. Meg will be based in newly opened office in Melbourne and will work closely with Zuzana Urbanova who has been promoted to NSW and QLD State Manager

With their in-depth knowledge and strong expertise in the industry, the new additions to the Xaxis family will contribute greatly to the company’s Australian strategy and business development.

All four appointments are effective immediately and join a growing team of fifteen people across three states.
