Xbox turns to real Aussies to sell Kinect
Microsoft will this Sunday launch a TV ad campaign for Xbox 360’s Kinect technology which allows users to play games with their bodies rather than a controller.
It features footage of players of all ages trying out the equipment, which goes on sale in about three weeks time.
The eight week pre-Christmas campaign is being led by Universal McCann.
Know the effort put in by everyone to make this happen, well done to the entire crew! Looks awesome.
This approach certainly worked for the Wii. Everyday gaming for everyday people. No more dream PS3 / Xbox360 brand briefs for the big creative agencies
Can they please stop with this concept now? Whenever I pick up a carton of this stuff I read the side and feel too embarrassed to buy it. Then I have to go without flavoured milk because my local Woolworths doesn’t stock any other brand.
