Yahoo Creative Studios brings the rainforest to life for Dare Iced Coffee

Yahoo Creative Studios has created a new AR campaign to celebrate Dare Iced Coffee’s Rainforest Alliance Certification.

The announcement:

Dare Iced Coffee has become Rainforest Alliance certified and is celebrating in a new augmented reality (AR) campaign by Yahoo Creative Studios.

Dare, the #1 Ready to Drink Coffee brand* in Australia, has been independently certified to the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard. To celebrate, Dare has engaged the Yahoo Creative Studios team to share the natural beauty of the rainforest in an AR campaign.

By simply scanning an on-pack QR code, iced coffee drinkers are transported into a virtual rainforest, allowing users to interact with an animated frog, Rainforest Alliance logo and become immersed in the sounds of the rainforest.

Potential customers can engage in the activation too via an additional above the line media and influencer campaign, Yahoo’s Native platform and across DOOH.

Zoe Cocker, head of innovation and Yahoo Creative Studios, comments, “Yahoo is proud to be partnering with a business supporting ethical sourcing and sustainable initiatives.

“This campaign highlights a larger trend we’re seeing with an increased demand for Yahoo immersive activations. The physical and digital worlds are blending as our lives become more integrated with technology. These sorts of hybrid consumer experiences are crucial for brands to engage with their existing and potential fans in an attention-cutting, seamless way.”

Dare Iced Coffee bottles featuring the on-pack promotion will be in stores from October 28.
