Youfoodz customers just ‘can’t stop doing it’ in new ads
Young couples admit they ‘can’t stop doing it’ after work, on weekends and even in front of their parents, in the latest series of ads for food delivery company Youfoodz.
The new ads, which run with the tagline ‘Everybody’s doin’ it’, feature young couples sitting on a couch admitting how often they ‘do it’.
In the first 15-second ad, a young couple talk about ‘doing it’ after waking up in the morning, after work and on weekends.
In a second piece of work, a couple admit to doing it with their neighbours and friends. They also talk about how their parents walked in on them ‘doing it’. Their parents now join them every Sunday.
The latest ads come after a controversial campaign featuring a young boy imitating fiery TV chef Gordon Ramsay.
The ad aired in primetime, but was censured by the Advertising Standards Board for the frequent use of the word “forking”.
“How long do you think this took me to cook? One? Try two forking minutes… Un-forking believable,” the boy told viewers.
I find their marketing confusing.
The language they use in their comms appears to be directed at teens, and perhaps early 20s.
Yet I seriously doubt that market is the one buying their product.

What are they selling – food or sleaze? Last ad was offensive, this one is just off.

There is always a line of people waiting to offer them advice with the release of each campaign. Meanwhile their business is exploding and Youfoodz achieving dominance in (what was) a cluttered market. Can’t argue with results peeps

I don’t find the ads funny nor titilating, which is what the aim is, I believe. I switch off with these ads. I like healthy food, keep to healthy facts it’s more appealing.

What are we selling here? Food or sex? One of the worst ads on TV, you’ve lost me. I won’t even look at your product/products let alone shelling out my hard earned money for utter rubbish.

Bought a couple of these but definitely won’t any more after seeing the ads. I really wonder what is wrong with the owner of this company??!!

Who created this campaign? A 13 year old pre-pubescent work experience kid who finds it really exciting to talk about “doing it” ? Drool drool…..
This so hopelessly dated and off the mark it is laughable. Who is your target market? Teenage boys?

No, I don’t like the ads at all. Using sex to sell is really tacky.

This ad is so tacky and very unclassy. I won’t be buying from Youfoodz until they smarten up their image. Very sexually suggestive. Not even subliminal advertising but overt. What a shame! I don’t understand how “everyone’s doing it” has anything to do with food?!! Daggy and to think it’s shown at prime time?! Seriously.. did a 15 year old create the ideas behind this ad?!

Your advertising is inappropriate. Sexual connotations are tacky & creepy. It took awhile to figure out what the ad was for, when l found out it was about food it really put me right off your product.
You need a better ad.

This advert has had the reverse effect on me. I will never buy this product.

This ridiculous ad campaign has been on TV long enough. The blunt sexual suggestions are not appealing or clever, and nothing to do with the product. When I saw the Youfoodz display in the supermarket, I just rolled my eyes and kept walking, so it has had the opposite effect on me than what the advertisers would want.

This ad is so disgusting and humiliating that you don’t even take any notice of what it is actually about.Get rid of it.

Seriously I just find their marketing and the way it is presented is tacky. They try to make it funny, however when I see the ad it representative of poor quality. Personally find it a turn off to want to try there options again.

How sad that inferences of a sexual nature are used in order to market their product. I for one will never buy their food on principle as I much prefer marketing that exudes class.

Those ads are just juvenile and embarrassing.
