Footy Show performs in the demos as Home and Away pulls largest non-news audience
The Footy Show had a strong performance last night, pulling in 499,000 viewers across Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth on an evening in which no program cracked the 1m audience mark.
The show was the most-watched show amongst 16-39 year olds and 18-49 year olds while Nine News at 6:30pm was the popular choice amongst 25-54 year old viewers.
It helped Nine claim a winning audience share of 22.5% ahead of Seven, which had a share of 15.7%. Ten claimed third place with a share of 14.1%, while the ABC settled for a share of 12.5%.
Home and Away was the most-watched non-news program, pulling in 634,000 metro viewers at 7:00pm.
On Ten, Bondi Rescue, airing from 7:30pm, was watched by 572,000 and Territory Cops, kicking off at 8:00pm, grabbed 519,000 viewers.
Nine News was the most-watched program overall with a 6:00pm audience of 940,000, slipping to 913,000 from 6:30pm.
Seven News grabbed 852,000 at 6:00pm, sliding to 832,000 from 6:30pm.
On the ABC, 7.30 was watched by 619,000, Hatch Match and Dispatch (8:00pm) grabbed 496,000 and Janet King (8:30pm) had an audience of 613,000.
