New Leo Burnett appointments announced
Leo Burnett has employed two new senior figures to its Sydney planning department.
Former Foxtel head of digital marketing Oli Mistry has been appointed to the newly created position of digital strategy director, while Caroline Ghatt moves into the new position of planning director, brand and retail.
Ghatt has worked with M&C Saatchi on clients Woolworths, Steggles, Optus, Westfield and others as a retail strategist and has won a Gold Effie Award.

Probably because a planner is the CEO. Natural tendency is to expand your area of expertise.
I can remember when an account service type ran LB and it was loaded with Account Service types.

understand the point, although I’d actually argue it could be the opposite.
We’ll put 4 planners in charge because we don’t have anybody to really put in charge (which may or may not be because the CEO planner who used to be in charge of planning doesn’t want to have a new planner in charge of planning!)
