303 MullenLowe appoints Steve Lorimer as senior art director

303 Mullen Lowe Perth has appointed Steve Lorimer to the role of senior art director.

The announcement:

303 MullenLowe’s creative line up continues to gain momentum with the addition of one of Perth’s most experienced and awarded art directors, Steve Lorimer.

Lorimer joins after a number of new project and business wins including Southern Cross Care, Kailis Bros, Commonwealth Super and a national project for Allergy Aware.

“Steve balances out our creative department’s blend of digital natives and seasoned professionals. As an individual, he is the art director’s triple threat with talent, craft and remarkable speed,” says Richard Berney, ECD.

Lorimer is one of Perth’s most experienced and awarded creatives, having previously been a senior Art Director at The Brand Agency and Marketforce.

Currently ranked 6th on Campaign Brief’s creative rankings, he has been responsible for major campaigns for clients such as The University of Western Australia, Lotterywest, Water Corporation and WA Tourism. He’s also been recognised for advertising excellence at multiple local, national and international awards.

“I’ve always admired 303 from afar. Their craft has always set the standard and remained consistent over the years and the work has never failed to surprise. When Rich started talking to me, I was pretty excited at the prospect of joining. Then, after working with the team for a few weeks, I was keen as mustard to get onboard. What a great bunch of people, all driven to succeed and have a lot of fun while doing it. I’m home,” says Lorimer.

His appointment follows a spate of recent creative hires at 303 MullenLowe, with Dean Hunt joining as Creative Lead in January, Andrew Allingham as Senior Digital Art Director and Vinay Chhana as Senior Designer both joining late last year.
