Tribal Worldwide Melbourne appoints Daniel Bluzer-Fry as customer experience strategist

Tribal Worldwide Melbourne has appointed Daniel Bluzer-Fry to the role of customer experience strategist.

The announcement:

DBFTribal Worldwide Melbourne announces the appointment of Daniel Bluzer-Fry to the role of Customer Experience Strategist.

The limitless possibilities of digital solutions means that many agencies no longer know where to focus – and some are blinkered and restricted by old connotations of ‘digital.’ The only way to truly innovate is to look at the entire customer journey and deliver against it, digital or otherwise.

The appointment of Daniel Bluzer-Fry to the role of Customer Experience Strategist is a move that facilitates Tribal Melbourne’s customer-experience centric vision, setting DDB apart from traditional production-focused digital agencies.

Bluzer-Fry comes to Tribal after five years at “The Lab”, a research-driven strategic consultancy based in Melbourne. In this capacity, he conducted qualitative and quantitative research for the purpose of brand positioning, communications and innovations on brands including Coles, Cricket Australia, Mondelez, Bosch, Fairfax and Channel 9. He was awarded “Best Paper by a Young Researcher” at Ilex APAC for his UX innovation work on Betfair and he recently spoke at SXSW on a number of digital transformations and the implication for brands.

Daniel says, “CX sounds mysterious but it’s about understanding consumers needs holistically, across the entire brand experience, and understanding what brands can be doing digitally or otherwise to improve that experience. I’m really looking forward to bringing this model into Tribal and into the broader DDB Group.”

He will work closely with the User Experience team and is passionate about working collaboratively with other business units within the DDB Group remit – drawing on and feeding into specific areas of expertise such as RAPP’s new data intelligence capabilities, DDB’s strategic planning resources and world-class creative thinkers, and Mango’s social and experiential expertise, to name a few.

Tribal Worldwide Melbourne’s Managing Director, Matt Oxley says, “I’m delighted to have Daniel in the team. Daniel adds additional expertise in providing a deeper level of understanding around what consumers really want and need. Combining our CX, UX and technology expertise we can offer innovative solutions to problems that clients may not have even considered.”
