FCR presents award for best corporate PR student to Shae Duncan

Financial & Corporate Relations has presented its fourth annual award for the best student in corporate PR at the University of Notre Dame to Shae Duncan.

The announcement:

Leading corporate communications firm, Financial & Corporate Relations (FCR) presented its fourth annual award for the best student in Corporate PR at the University of Notre Dame to Shae Duncan.

FCR’s managing director, Anthony Tregoning, presented Duncan with the award and a $500 cash prize. She is due to complete her Bachelor of Marketing and Public Relations in June this year.

Responding that she was ‘absolutely honoured to receive the prize,’ Duncan identified the importance of corporate PR and how the skills she has learned are already being put to use in her marketing/PR role for a tech startup. The startup is developing a recruitment app, specifically targeted at graduates.

Founded in 1985, FCR has helped train many graduates and has presented the prize for the past four years.

‘Communication is an integral part of the corporate strategy of every business. An effective communication program can help build the loyalty and trust of customers, employees, investors and other stakeholders,’ Mr Tregoning stated.

FCR works with clients throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region to guide communication with their stakeholders, including investors, employees and business customers.
