Captain America: Civil War dominates weekend box office pulling in just over $6m

Captain America: Civil War has dominated the weekend box office, raking in $6.071m across 627 screens.

Since its local premiere at the end of April, the Marvel movie, which stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson, has made $23.450m.

Coming in at second place is Bad Neighbours 2, starring Zac Efron and Rose Byrne, which grabbed $2.386m across 373 screens. To date the comedy has made $2.447m.
