Ruby Rose hired for new dance show on Today Network
Austereo’s Today Network and MCM Media have hired the talents of Ruby Rose to host new youth-targeted radio show Party People.
The team will also include Maude Garrett, Tim Lee and Matty Acton.
The show will air on Friday nights at 10pm and Saturday nights from 7pm.
Simon Joyce, chief executive of the production company behind the show MCM Media, noted: “The announcement of Ruby Rose as one of the new hosts of Party People, and the addition of a Friday night program, is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering big on air talent for our broadcast and advertising partners”.
It’s about time today network got some fresh faces!

Great idea. People are more likely to “share” their radio listening on a Saturday night – at parties and in cars on their way out.
At least it is not called the Super Awesome Mega Mega Show. At least it doesn’t have a pirate theme.
No wonder Austereo’s Today network out rate their DMG counterpart in EVERY capital city in Australia.

But what a pity such eye-candy is relegated to radio… I always thought radio was supposed to be for the uglies! HA!

nickatnights – MCM may have pitched this to DMG and they might have declined. You never know. This wasn’t an Austereo idea.
I’m unsure on the idea. Ruby Rose as a DJ has as much authenticity as Ruby Rose as a doctor.

Nothing wrong with producing a piece thats deliberately on message, but seeing the scripts for the answers being waved around @ 0:58 is lazy producing which detracts from a well shot video….

What’s the point if you can’t see her?
