Nine’s Ninja Warrior most popular show across the board for Monday TV
Nine’s Ninja Warrior has topped the ratings leader board for the second night in a row pulling in 1.604m metro viewers, slightly down from Sunday’s premiere of 1.68m.
The obstacle course competition was also the most-watched program across key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.
Competing against Nine’s new show was Seven’s The Last 100 Days of Diana, which attracted a metro audience of 768,000, beating Ten’s 753,000 for Masterchef Australia.
According to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings, Nine took home an overall audience share win for Monday night with 27%, beating Seven’s 19.6% and Ten’s 13.6% share.
Meanwhile ABC saw a share of 9.8% topping SBS’ 3.8%.
At 9.15pm Nine aired Here Come the Habibs which grabbed a metro audience of 749,000.
In news for the evening Seven News was the second most watched program for Monday night television with an audience of 1.087m. Nine News at 6pm saw 1.058m metro viewers tune in.
