The announcement:

7-Eleven Australia and its point of sale supplier, Active Display, were recognised at last night’s POPAI Awards winning two awards – gold and silver. The POPAI Awards recognise best practice, innovation, and excellence in marketing at retail level.

7-Eleven and Active Displays were thrilled to win gold for ‘Share the Love Krispy Kreme with Nutella’, and silver for ‘Slurpee BYO Cup Day’, in the ‘Physical Display: Petrol, Convenience & Route, Temporary Display’ category.

According to 7-Eleven Head of Marketing, Julie Laycock, the award wins are a great recognition of the hard work and collaboration from the 7-Eleven and Active Display teams to create fun, engaging displays in 7-Eleven’s stores.

“We want our store displays to bring to life the fun, engaging promotional campaigns we deliver in our stores. Both Share the Love – Krispy Kreme with Nutella and our famous BYO Cup Day are great opportunities for our teams and customers to have fun in-store. The fantastic point of sale developed by our team with Active Display really helps to create excitement in store around our promotions,” Ms Laycock said.

“Active Display are a long standing supplier of 7-Eleven fulfilling all our POS production, printing warehousing and distribution needs. Since 2001, Active Display has racked up more than 130 POPAI awards including an award for 7-Eleven’s very own Slurpee Dump Bin. They continue to provide 7-Eleven with the very best of quality product and services, a testament to that is our account manager, Luke Goulding who was recognised as the Account Manager of the Year at our 7-Eleven Supplier Awards event in 2017,” she concluded.
