72 and Sunny promotes Emma Conway to head of design

72 and Sunny Sydney has promoted Emma Conway to head of design.

Conway steps up from her position as senior designer which she has held since she joined the agency in 2018. In her time at 72, Conway has led design work for clients Lion, Amaysim, Infigen and Cover-More.

Conway has been with 72 and Sunny since 2018

“Emma is a creative rockstar. Her contribution to our design output over the past couple of years has been exceptional. We couldn’t be more thrilled to promote her and see where she takes us next.” said Luke Martin, head of product at 72 and Sunny Sydney.

Prior to joining 72, Conway spent three years freelancing, gaining experience at Host Havas, M&C Saatchi, Re, Saatchi & Saatchi and Clemenger BBDO. She has also spent time on the client side with design studios in New York and Dublin.

Conway said: ““I’m excited to step into this new role with 72 and Sunny and continue working with our wonderful clients. The breadth of projects and the opportunities we have in front of us this year are brilliant.”

CEO Chris Kay added: “Craft in delivery has never been more important, so to have Emma ride shotgun with the rest of the gang in bringing a different flavour of work to the market is epic.”

Recently, Freedom Foods expanded its relationship with 72, appointing the agency to grow its Milklab brand.
